"Noises Remix" By Mochakk
In 2025, we were invited by the teams behind Mochakk and PinkPantheress to create the promotional video for the release of Noises.
The idea was to find a balance between both worlds: PinkPantheress’ cute, pop and slightly bad boss attitude, combined with Mochakk’s raw, chaotic and urban energy. Pink summed up this contrast pretty well with a line that became part of our creative direction: “I’m cute, but I’m not innocent.”
From there, we created a fully frame-by-frame animated piece, mixing collage, drawing, printmaking and hands-on processes with digital manipulation. Most of the textures and elements were physically produced, printed, cut, scanned, and then printed and re-scanned, creating a more organic, imperfect and unpredictable visual language.
The whole process was about letting those imperfections show — misaligned registrations, print noise, paper textures and small distortions — and turning them into an essential part of the animation.
The result was a short, fast-paced film packed with texture, designed primarily for social media, bringing PinkPantheress and Mochakk’s visual worlds together through a language that blends traditional animation, mixed media and analog experimentation.
